Vacations for West Coast Swing Dancers
Step outside the WCS Dance Event Hotel and explore the beauty around you!
How many times have you visited a city or state or country and never left the event hotel?
I’m as guilty as the rest of you! There are so many great workshops and shows and comps and hanging with friends during the weekend. How can you find time to explore this place you have flown to?
My solution is to come early or stay late! Obviously we can’t take the time off to explore every location we fly to for a dance event, but what if everything was planned out for you in an amazing destination and all you had to do was show up and enjoy?
As a Westie who owns a Travel Agency, I am putting together some trips in amazing places so that you can incorporate your next vacation into a WCS event.
I am starting with some obvious ones like exploring Sedona, Arizona between Desert City Swing and ESS in September, or adventuring through Cape Town, South Africa before Safari Swing and taking in the majesty of Victoria Falls after Safari Swing. I am also planning a Northern Lights tour of Scandinavia in the winter of 2025.

West Coast Swing Dancers! Escape the heat of Phoenix and bask in the red rock splendor of Sedona, Arizona for 4 days between Desert City Swing and ESS. Following Safari Swing West Coast Swing Dance Event, we will fly to Zimbabwe and experience two glorious days at Victoria Falls before flying back to Johannesburg to tour the city and learn more about the fascinating history of South Africa.
